Shanghai Disney Resort is going to hold Halloween events and parties through October in the spookiest season.

From Oct. 5 through Nov. 1, 2020, there will be "exciting events, hauntingly-fun Halloween parties, trick-or-treating, decorations, and a host of not-so-scary surprises," according to the resort's press release.

A two-day Halloween party will take place on Oct. 30 and 31, with character encounters, dance parties, live music and special fireworks. Also, Miguel and his hometown of Santa Cecilia in the hugely popular "Coco"-themed area in Adventure Isle will once again come to life from Oct. 12 through Nov. 8.

The resort is inviting visitors to wear their "most creative Halloween costumes" as they gather together and prepare for the seasonal celebration. From Oct. 5 through 30, guests can purchase Halloween Staycation packages - available for a visit from Oct. 8 through 31 - on the official WeChat account of Shanghai Disney Resort and via the official Fliggy store.

Guests who prefer to experience the haunting Halloween fun after dark can enter the park after 3:00 p.m. with a Half-Day Ticket, available for purchase from Sept. 25 through Nov. 1, and will be valid for a visit from Sept. 26 through Nov. 1.
