The 2021 Culture and Tourism Development Conference of Sichuan Province kicks off at Jiuzhaigou National Park in southwest China's Sichuan province, Sept. 28, 2021. Jiuzhaigou National Park has been fully opened to visitors on Sept. 28, 2021, after it was hit by a powerful earthquake. According to local authorities, "three, nine, giant" signifies the essence of the province's tourism sector, which is represented by the Sanxingdui Ruins ("san," or "three" is the first character in its Chinese name), Jiuzhaigou ("jiu," or "nine" is the first character in its Chinese name), and the giant panda.
