The 22th Nyingchi Peach Blossom Tourism and Cultural Festival opened in Nyingchi, southwestern China's Xizang autonomous region, on April 3. 

At the opening ceremony, five local representatives were joined by an intelligent robot to launch the event. More than 10 local intangible cultural heritage performances were featured.

The robot helped introduce travel routes in both Tibetan and Mandarin, showcasing how smart technology is being integrated into cultural and tourism promotion in the region.

The gala combined traditional Tibetan heritage with modern artistic expression and digital innovation, highlighting Nyingchi's rich ecological beauty and vibrant cultural life. It also reflected the region's development achievements and the shared aspirations of local communities for a happy, harmonious life.

Over the past 22 years, the Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival has grown into a flagship event for Xizang's cultural tourism. By integrating resources across counties and districts, the festival aims to activate the full tourism chain, creating an immersive springtime experience that blends natural beauty, cultural depth, and economic vitality.

The opening ceremony was livestreamed via multimedia platforms, inviting online audiences to enjoy the peach blossom scenery.
