Mugecuo Scenic Area in Kangding, Sichuan Province, is a world heritage site nominee. Located in the middle section of Gongga Mountain Range, 17 kilometers from Kangding’s urban area, it is also a national AAAA-LEVEL scenic area and a key national tourist attraction. Covering 350 square kilometers, the scenic area consists of six major parts：Cuckoo Gorge, Grass Ground, Seven Color Sea, Boiling Medical Spring, Mugecuo Lake and Red Sea Grassland.
