Sichuan promotes its tourism resources and products in Melbourne Friday as part of the “Beautiful China, more than pandas” campaign.
2017 is the China-Australia Year of Tourism for China and Australia and Sichuan sees it as an opportunity to increase its popularity as a tourist destination in the country.
At the scene decorated by lovely panda toys and art works, Sichuan’s tourism promotional video was eye-catching.
The Sichuan Tourism Marketing Center in Melbourne was also inaugurated on the occasion.
A representative of the Melbourne center of Sichuan Airlines introduced its products and Sichuan Business International Travel Service promoted its gourmet tour.
Another highlight of the promotion is the use of VR for participants to experience Sichuan’s scenery.
Song Ming, Vice Director of Sichuan Provincial Tourism Development Commission addressed the event.
