Dagu Glacier Scenic Area is situated in Heishui County of the Aba Tibet and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, about 270 kilometers away from Chengdu, southwest China’s Sichuan Province. It has 13 modern mountain glaciers, with an ice-covered area of 6.04 square kilometers. It is home for more than 1,000 varieties of wild plants and 153 wild animals. The scenic area is rich in glaciers, snow-capped peaks, colorful forests, lakes, Tibetan villages, and other resources. [Photo by Liu Jie/China.org.cn]
