A full-scale replica of Titanic, the British passenger liner that sank tragically during its maiden voyage in April 1912, is being built at a site along the Qijiang River in Daying county, Suining city, some 120 kilometers east of Chengdu. It is meant as a new tourism attraction in Suining, an important part comprising the Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone. When completed the project will contain reproductions of original Titanic features including banquet hall, theater, swimming pool, and luxury first-class cabin. [Photo/VCG]
