Changning to host summer rural tourism festival

Sichuan’s ninth rural tourism festival for summer season will open in Changning county, in Yibin city on May 16.
Scheduled to run for three days, the festival will highlight the beautiful bamboo forest that Changning is famous for. Artists will be invited to explore the forest. A dragon boat contest will be hosted among a range of activities.
Changning has been tapping its rich tourism resources for economic development in recent years. It now has four national 4A scenic sites.
