A Sichuan gourmet food themed serial event walked into Istanbul, Turkey on June 8, as part of a promotional campaign launched in 2016 to promote Sichuan culinary culture and discover best Sichuan cuisine restaurants worldwide.
Attending the event were Fu Yonglin, director of Sichuan provincial tourism development commission; Ismail Gultekin, deputy governor of Istanbul; and Zhong Hongnuo, deputy consul-general of Consulate General of China in Istanbul.
The event presented signature Sichuan cuisine dishes such asMa Po tofuandDandannoodles with spicy hot sauce. Deputy governor of Istanbul, Ismail Gultekin, helped prepare theMa Po tofuby adding pepper powders as the final touch.
