Located in Drum Mountain in the Fengfeng mining area in Handan, Hebei Province, the Xiangtang Mountain Grottoes is the largest group of grottoes in the province. Construction began during the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577) and continued through the Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties.
