Anping Bridge

Anping Bridge spans the bay between Anhai County and Shuitou County, Fujian Province, and is the largest ancient stone beam bridge in China. It is also known as "Five Li Bridge" because of its length of 2255 meters, approximately five li (a li is about 500 meters). The bridge was first built in the eighth year of the Shaoxing reign in Southern Song Dynasty (1138) and the contruction lasted for 14 years. [Lizi suzi/bbs.fengniao.com]
