Duan and thirty-seven tribes Stele, also known as Shicheng Stele, was erected in the 4th year of Kaibao reign (971) during the Northern Song Dynasty. It consists of upper and lower parts, and stands 1.25 meters high, 0.58 meters wide and 0.61 meters thick. The stele memorializes the Duan family's cooperation with thirty-seven tribes to defeat the Diandong tribes of Qujing City. [qcyn.sina.com.cn]
