Qingdao is noted as the city of sailing. In mid-August, the three biggest sailing competitions of Qingdao, or other the 2017 "Mayor Cup" International Round Island Regatta, 2017 Qingdao International Regatta and 2017 Qingdao International OP Sailing Camp & Sailing Competition, took turns to take place, attracting many foreign tourists and local citizens.
