The Oceanology International China 2017 was held in Qingdao, Shandong Nov 1 to 3. It is the first event organized by known event organizer Reed Exhibitions in Qingdao.

The event attracted 200 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions, showcasing state-of-the-art technologies and equipment. It offered a site for exchange in marine resources development, marine ecosystem protection, offshore oil and gas exploration, oceaneering, and ocean monitoring.

47 international experts shed light on the development of marine technology and marine engineering equipment during a professional forum as part of the expo.
