Qingdao Daneng Environmental Protection Equipment Co reeled in 774 million yuan in main business income in 2016, with a net profit of 49.9 million yuan, as its slag removing equipment and flue gas residual heat recovery solutions dominated the domestic market.

Daneng has sold 200 slag removing machines since 2013 at the price of 4 million yuan. By applying Daneng’s slag removing equipment, a power plant in Xinjiang reduced power consumption by 17 percent and cut maintenance work by 80 percent. 

Its flue gas residual heat recovery system is integrated with dust precipitation technology. As of late, there are 130 such machines are put in use, taking up a 50 percent market share. 

Daneng invested heavily in technological advancement. 

It commits millions of yuan in research and development. To improve production efficiency, Daneng collaborated with Xi’an Jiaotong University and developed welding robots. One eighth of the work force are technicians. 

And these investments have paid off. 

Daneng has achieved 14 patents of invention and 70 patents for utility models, and won national and provincial technology awards. And by catering to customers’ unique needs, the company won over international clients.
