If you want a more "hands-on" experience, the Classic Books museum has some interactive sections on offer.
Visitors can learn how to make oracle bone inscriptions, one of China's ancient written characters. With instructions and examples, the exhibit demonstrates how modern Chinese characters evolved from their ancient forms. At another exhibition hall, visitors can build a virtual ancient building.
The models are designed according to descriptions in ancient books held at the museum. It's hoped the interactive displays will help to bring younger visitors through the doors.
