The auto industry has become the latest battlefield for the Internet giants. A smart car designed to interact with the environment and use real-time information is one of the major concepts in this auto show.

Chinese Internet giants Alibaba, Baidu and Tencent have all teamed up with carmakers to break into the auto market.

"We can open car door by eyes, control it by gestures, and the car will capture our minds and activate by vocal print. It is very convenient. And this is not a fantasy, it is what we see right here," Ken Ying, board chairman pf Shanghai Pateo Network Service Ltd., said.

The auto industry has been surprising people since the first vehicle was produced. And automakers hope their cars will continue to take people further and broaden their imaginations by embracing the latest technology.
