October-22-2009

A Sudanese cargo plane crashed on Wednesday in a desert area near Sharjah Airport in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), killing all the six-member cabin crew, pan-Arab al-Jazeera TV reported.

The Boeing 707 exploded in the air and went down two miles (three kilometers) from Sharjah Airport, just few minutes after taking off.

Authorities denied earlier reports that the plane was Iranian.
