An employee of the Foxconn Technology Group died after falling from a building in south China's boom town of Shenzhen Friday morning, police said.

It is the tenth fall by Foxconn employees this year and the eighth death.

The latest fatality was identified as Nan Gang, a 21-year-old man. He died at 4:50 a.m. Friday and his body has been sent to a morgue of the Shenzhen Hualong People's Hospital, said Huang Jianwei, a spokesman of the Bao'an Police Station of the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau.

Foxconn is a Shenzhen-based thriving tech firm linked to Taiwan electronics giant Hon Hai Group.
