Huayi Brothers, the film's production company, released the movie's closing song "Zui Hao Bu Xiang Jian" ("Best Not to Meet"), saying its lyrics were taken from Tsangyang Gyatso's poem "Shi Jie Shi" ("Ten Nots Poem").
The lyrics read, "Best not to meet you. Then I won't fall in love; Best not to know you. Then I won't miss you; [...] Best not to love you. Then I won't leave you."
"It's a beautiful poem pondering the meaning of love, which echoes the film's theme," Luan Shu, who wrote the song's music, was quoted as saying in the press release.
Li Mo, dubbed the "rock poetess" by her fans, has been invited to sing the song.
"If You Are the One 2" is a sequel to Feng's 2008 box office smash hit, which is about a man's search for love through blind dates. The sequel follows the man's pursuit of his new love. It will hit cinemas on December 22. |
