At least 27 militant were killed by security forces in different military operations in northwest Pakistan on Monday, local media reported.
Pakistani army helicopters targeted suspected militant hideouts in Mohmand tribal area. The assault killed at least 21 militants, injured four others as the hideouts totally were destroyed, according to local Urdu channel Dunnya.
Besides, at least six terrorists were killed by security forces in Tehsil Matta of Swat on Monday, Urdu channel SAMMA reported.
After receiving information about the entrance of terrorists in Tehsil Matta's hilly area, security forces surrounded the area and launched an operation against the miscreants.
During exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists, at least six miscreants were reported killed.
Security forces also seized arms and ammunition from the dead miscreants.
Moreover, Pakistani security forces also launched a search operation in Northern Waziristan tribal area on Monday. |
