February-5-2011

Egypt's natural gas pipeline exploded on Saturday in the northern El Arish governorate, as hundreds of thousands of protesters took to streets asking for the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak, according to Xinhua local reporter.

The pipeline which links Egypt and Jordan exploded after mass protests erupted in Egypt more than a week ago. Flames climbed to about twenty meters in the sky, the witnesses said.

The security forces and ambulances have rushed to the site, and an investigation have been launched.
