4.2-magnitude earthquake jolts north China county

An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale jolted Wuzhai County, north China's Shanxi Province at 1:51 a.m. Beijing Time on Monday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 5 km, was determined to be at 39 degrees north latitude and 111.7 degrees east longitude, the center said.

There has been no report of casualties.
