6.2-magnitude earthquake hits Alaska

An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted Alaska of the United States at 3:59 a.m. Sunday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 30 km, was determined to be at 54.9degrees north latitude and 161.4 degrees west longitude.
