Anne Hathaway believes in love at first sight.
The actress - who has been dating 'The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning' actor Adam Shulman for three years - thinks it would be a "shame" if people did not think they could fall for one another as soon as they meet.
When asked if she believes in love at first sight, she replied: "Why not? I think it's a good thing to believe in, I think it'd be a shame if we didn't have that, it'd be a lot less fun."
The 28-year-old beauty - who split from Raffaello Follieri in 2008 around the time he was imprisoned for four-and-a-half years for money laundering, wire fraud and conspiracy - also thinks people can have such a thing as a soul mate for the rest of their lives.
Speaking at the New York City premiere of her latest movie 'One Day' last night (09.08.11), she said: "I think there's a lot of people out there but I think usually there's one person out there that you can find yourself committing to."
Anne was joined at the premiere by her 'One Day' co-star Jim Sturgess, as well as guests Coco Rocha, Michael Michele, Beth Ostrosky and Kevin Jonas.
The 28-year-old Hollywood beauty recently revealed she was "look forward to a little alone time" after breaking up with Raffeallo, but she then fell for Adam.
She explained: "I am very much in love. Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time and then I fall in love like a fool. It's three years. It's serious!" |
