Cote d'Ivoire's ex-president charged with economic crimes

• Former president of Cote d'Ivoire Laurent Gbagbo and his wife were charged with economic crimes, media reports quoted the public prosecutor as saying on Thursday.

  The ex-president was arrested in April following months-long post-election chaos that dragged the west African country into deep crisis.
