Fiji hit by 7.3-magitute earthquake

An earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale Friday jolted Fiji region at 7:31 local time (19:31 GMT on Thursday). No casualty and damage was reported till now.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter, with a depth of 626.1 km, was initially determined to be at 21.56 degrees south latitude and 179.37 degrees west longitude.
