Founded in 1989, Guanghui Industry Investment Co., Ltd. is based in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is a corporation mainly focusing on businesses of liquefied natural gas, mining, auto service and real estate. In 2000, the company went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Market (stock code: 600256). The business income of Guanghui in 2010 was 64.7 billion yuan (US$10.12 billion), up 52.4 percent from the previous year; and the net profit was 3.57 billion yuan (US$559.2 million), up 82.9 percent. As of June 2011, the total assets of the company have reached 56.5 billion yuan (US$8.83 billion).
