Zhang Yimou to publishe his first autobiography

Leading Chinese film producer and director Zhang Yimou's first autobiography will be published later this month.

The book will accompany the release of his latest movie "The Flowers of War".

In the book, Zhang talks about his family, his overseas studying experience, and some untold stories of directing the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

The book also features Zhang's photography work.

Zhang Yimou's international honors include his work on films such as "Red Sorghum", "The Story of Qiu Ju" and "Not One Less".
