A strong earthquake was felt in Mexico city on Saturday night when buildings were shaken violently.
The magnitude of the temblor, whose epicenter was initially determined to be at 17.9700 degrees north latitude and 99.7630 degrees west longitude, reached 6.8 on the Richter scale, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
