China's meteorological authority on Wednesday forecast strong rains for the country's southern regions over the next three days.
From Wednesday to Friday, heavy rains are likely to hit Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and regions south of the Yangtze River, the National Meteorological Center said.
Guangxi will be hit the hardest, with up to 180 mm of precipitation expected, the center said.
In addition, a persistent cold front in north China will drop temperatures and bring showers and strong winds to Inner Mongolia and northeast China on Wednesday, the center said.
