Robin Li, the chairman and CEO of China's search engine giant Baidu, came out on top of the latest ranking of China's best CEOs published by Forbes China Monday.
Li, who was also the richest man from mainland China on the 2012 Forbes Billionaires List, was followed on the CEO list by Ma Huateng from Tencent Holdings, another top Chinese Internet business.
A total of 30 companies' CEOs were on the list. One of the companies is listed on the Nasdaq, 14 are listed in Hong Kong, and the rest 15 are listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges.
Baidu's total revenues in the first quarter this year hit RMB4.264 billion ($677.1 million), a 75.0% increase from the corresponding period in 2011.
