China's first civil seaplane took off in Sanya, south China's Hainan province on Friday. According to Meiya Air, the owner of the plane, it is China's first professional airline that focuses on offering amphibian transportation services.
Routes of the aviation company include low-flying trips above the Xisha Islands with an hourly cost of 30,000 yuan, and trips around the Hainan Island. The company currently owns two Cessna 208 seaplanes.
