Chinese A-lister Gong Li addressed her recent award nomination and rumors about her personal life at fashion brand Prada's special exhibition in Hong Kong earlier this week.
Dressed to the nines in a gold sequins gown, the 48-year-old actress said she's "excited" about her Best Actress nomination in Taiwan's upcoming Golden Horse Awards - it will be her first time attending the event in Taipei.
Recent reports have suggested there's bad blood between Gong Li and Chinese actress Joan Chen, who heads up the jury for this year's awards.
But Gong Li says nothing could be further from the truth.
"No…no…we never met. How do you not get along with someone if you've never even met them? No, there's nothing to this. It's a fake (story), so just ignore it."
There's been media buzz around the actress's love life since her marriage with Singaporean businessman Ooi Hoe Seong ended in 2010. When asked if she's dating, Gong Li smiled and quipped, "Of course."
