Romanian documentary 'Pursuing Dreams' launched

• CRI's Romanian department has launched a documentary on Romanian's living in China.

  "Pursuing dreams" is a 70 minute film about the life, study and work of six Romanians achieving their goals in the mainland.

  2014 marks the 65th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationships between China and Romania.

  Romanian ambassador to China, Doru Costea, was at the launch of the film.

  "There's such a huge difference between us, Romanians, Europeans, and our hosts, Chinese, Asians. I think that we may see here, how so different cultures may very well live together, and more than that. Not only live but also work love and do something good."

  "Persuing Dreams" was directed by Wang Zhi and produced by CRI's centre for Russia and Eastern Europe.
