President Barack Obama will face questions from Twitter users around the country Wednesday during a town hall hosted by the popular social media service.
The event will focus on jobs and the economy. Questions for the president will be selected by Twitter.
But don't look for Obama to deliver his answers in 140-character Tweets. The president will give verbal answers in front of a live audience in the East Room of the White House.
Some of those attending were invited by the administration because they follow the official White House Twitter account.
The White House has often turned to social networking to reach voters outside Washington, including a town hall with the president hosted by Facebook earlier this year.
