US admiral tours Chinese warship

US Vice-Admiral Kenneth Floyd (right), commander of the US Third Fleet who also serves as this year's RIMPAC Combined Task Force Commander, shakes hands with Zhang Ronghua, captain of China's hospital ship Peace Ark in Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, Hawaii, on Saturday. The Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) multinational naval exercises, which started in 1971, is the world's largest multinational maritime military exercise. A total of 23 nations will participate in this year's drill scheduled for July 9-30. Floyd also visited missile destroyer Haikou, missile frigate Yueyang, and supply ship Qiandaohu.
