The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Russia have signed a protocol on the export of labor to each other's countries, reported the official news agency KCNA Saturday.

A joint working group "for settling the issue related to the implementation of the agreement on the temporary work of citizens of the other state" whether in Russia or the DPRK was signed here on Friday, said the report.

The protocol was signed by Ri Kwang Gun, DPRK's Vice-Minister of External Economic Relations, and a delegation of the General Bureau of Emigration Affairs of Russia's Ministry of Interior led by Deputy General Director Dmitri Demidenko, it said.

No other details of the protocol were mentioned in the report.

Russia is the only country, apart from China, which has regular flights to the DPRK.
