Syrian envoy calls on Lebanon to forbid misuse of the border line

BEIRUT, July 27 (Xinhua) -- Syrian ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali on Friday urged Lebanon to forbid the exploitation and misuse of the border line between the two countries.

Ali stressed in a media statement following his meeting with the ambassador of the World Human Rights Organization and member of the International Parliament for Security and Peace Haitham Abou Said.

The Syrian envoy called on the Lebanese government to "forbid the exploitation and misuse of the border line between the two countries by gunmen who open fire on the Syrian security posts as most of these gunmen are outlaws." Enditem
