An Arab League (AL) ministerial delegation headed by the group's chief Nabil al-Arabi is to visit the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, official news agency MENA reported Sunday.
"The AL Secretary-General called the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas Sunday morning to inform him of this visit, MENA quoted a senior AL official as saying.
"He also told him about the results of the AL ministerial meeting held Saturday," the official added, noting the pan-Arab group is consulting with its members on the delegates to Gaza.
The Arab foreign ministers held an emergency meeting late Saturday on Gaza, which is under an Israeli aggression, and urged a review on the Arab Peace initiative with Israel. Endi
