A total of 33 people were killed and 322 injured in road accidents nationwide on December 27, the first day of the so-called "seven dangerous days", Bangkok Post online reported.
Transport Minister Chatchart Suthipan said on Friday that The "Seven Dangerous Days" road safety campaign of the Thailand's Transport Ministry during the year's New Year holiday runs from December 27 to January 2, 2013.
The province with the most fatalities on day one was northern province of Chiang Mai, with 4 deaths, followed by Bangkok (3). Drunk driving was the main cause of accidents, the minister said. Endi
