The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Russia opened its third business club here Tuesday, in the hopes to expand U.S. business in the Russia's Far East region.
The opening ceremony was attended by executives of AmCham Russia, local officials and representatives of global corporations such as IBM, General Electric and Hitachi.
In a meeting with AmCham Russia CEO Andrew Somers here on Monday, Primorsky Krai Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky expressed hopes that the opening of the club will help attract investment for business development in the region.
Established in 1994, AmCham Russia now has 800 member companies. Endi
