The British-Swedish biopharmaceutical group AstraZeneca announced on Thursday that it would cut 2,300 jobs in sales and administration.
According to Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter (DN), the job cuts were part of a wide cutback which would shed over 5,000 jobs from within the company in the next three years.
AstraZeneca hopes that by laying off its personnel it could invest in d be cut in Sweden.
