A youth art festival and competition opened here Thursday, attracting more than 700 young artists from Russia's Far East and Transbaikal Krai.

Children and youths, aged from five to 30, have come from seven regions of the Far Eastern Federal District and Transbaikal Krai to Vladivostok for the fourth annual festival. Among them are 50 vocalists, 40 dance groups, five circus troupes and three LED show artists.

The three-day competition covers 15 categories -- vocal, choreography, instrumental music, DJ, beatboxing, circus show, original genre, hand made, photo sketch, among others.
