American star sprinter Allyson Felix won her trademark 200-meter at the 2013 IAAF World Challenge Beijing here on Tuesday.
Felix, winner of the event at the 2009 Berlin Worlds and the 2012 London Games, clocked 22.36 seconds to win the gold at the "Bird Nest" with ease. She took part in the 2008 Beijing Games but had to settle with a silver in 200m.
Her teammates Lashauntea Moore and Ebonie Floyd finished second and third respectively in 22.85 and 23.19.
"I feel good, you know, that summer I wasn't so happy but it's nice to be back once again and win," said the 27-year-old, who also collected the 4X400m and 4X100m relay titles at the London Games.
"I will focus on the World Championships next," she added. "And I hope I can win the 200m."
Felix lost to Jamaica's Veronica Campbell-Brown and her teammate Carmelita Jeter in the 200m final at Daegu Worlds in 2011 and only finished with a brozne. Endi
