Hundreds of Tunisians gathered in front of the Egyptian embassy in Tunis on Wednesday to celebrate the ouster of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, Radio Mosaique FM reported.
The demonstrators waving Tunisian and Egyptian flags shouted slogans hostile to the country's ruling Islamic party, Ennahdha and Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood.
On Monday, Ennahdha issued a statement, expressing its solidarity with Morsi, following the Egyptian army's 48-hour ultimatum to convince him to leave power.
The Tunisian government has not yet commented on the news of Morsi's ouster. Endi
