Athletes from 27 countries and regions will compete at the 47th Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship which is scheduled to take place in Vietnam's southern Ho Chi Minh City from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1.

Around 350 athletes from China, India, Iran, Japan and Thailand among others will play for 36 sets of medals in men's and women's bodybuilding, fitness physique, model physique and athletic physique.

The annual championship is expected to be an opportunity for athletes to prepare for the upcoming 27th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Myanmar in December. Endi
