The "Pirates of the Caribbean" series is directed by Norwegian filmmakers Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg. Their adventure film "Kon-Tiki" earned a nomination for the best foreign language Oscar.
The first four "Pirates" films excelled at the global box office, grossing 3.7 billion U.S. dollars. Endi
