"The Missing Picture" had won the "Un Certain Regard" prize at the Cannes Film Festival in France in May.

Rithy Panh could not be reached for comments on Thursday. He told local media early this week that the film was a big pride for Cambodia and the Cambodian people though it did not win the Oscar. Endi
