5 injured in Afghan capital blast

At least five Afghans were wounded Sunday morning in a blast in eastern Kabul, sources said.

"A sticky bomb went off in a minibus carrying the employees of Ministry of Agriculture and Livestocks in Pul-e-Safid locality in eastern Kabul at around 6:30 a.m. local time," a police source told Xinhua anonymously.

The injured from the bus were shifted to a hospital, the source said, adding the victims were workers of the ministry and they sustained no life-threaten wounds.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Taliban insurgent group has intensified their attack as the spring and summer known as the fighting season in the war-hit country is drawing near.
